Offered by AECENL with financial support from Equinor, the IDEA Series is a fully funded professional learning initiative for Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) in various positions across Newfoundland and Labrador.
This multi-year program supports accessible learning opportunities for early learning professionals that focus on inclusion, diversity, equity, and anti-bias (IDEA) education in early learning settings.
Quality early learning is equitable, inclusive, and responsive to ALL children and families.
Through the IDEA Series, AECENL hopes to:
Reduce barriers to professional learning
Support educators in applying anti-bias, trauma-informed, and inclusive practices
Strengthen cultural responsiveness and disability awareness in ECE environments
Some of the IDEA Series training opportunities qualify as anti-bias PL under the Operating Grant Program.
