AECENL’s Bookshelf

 

AECENL’s PL Lending Library now has a collection of books on various early learning and child care topics! These books are free to borrow from the AECENL office and are eligible for professional learning hours with the completion of a reflective form.

All you need to borrow a book is to fill out a Bookshelf Lending Library Form, submit a retaining fee (cheque or money e-transfer) to cover the cost of the book + shipping should it be damaged or lost. The retaining fee will be reimbursed once the book is returned to AECENL.

Planning on borrowing a book to gain professional learning hours? Once you have read the book complete the reflection form, answer the 5 reflective questions  and submit to registrar@aecenl.ca for verification. If your certification is up for renewal, please be sure to submit your reflective questions in time for review!

Interested in a book from AECENL’s Bookshelf but don’t need the PL hours? That’s okay! You’re welcome to borrow a book for your own learning purposes; submission of lending form and retaining fee applies.

Want to borrow a book but live outside the Metro region? AECENL is collaborating with The Newfoundland and Labrador Public Libraries to make a selection of these books accessible to ECEs across the province!
