Step 1. Ensure that you have registered the individual participants in your child care service through Eventbrite.

Step 2. Please have all participants sign an attendance sheet. The organizer is responsible for keeping a copy of this attendance sheet on file in the event a participant needs a re-issue of the PL certificate at a future date. Click here for a sample attendance sheet from the PL Toolkit for Administrators: Sample Attendance Sheet.

Step 3. At the time of the workshop, only one participant or administrator needs to sign into the Zoom link if all other participants are watching together on a shared screen. We recommend signing in early and testing all equipment including speakers in advance.

Step 4. For all participants to receive verification of PL hours:

  • Submit the group photo and attendance sheet to admin@aecenl.ca before 4:30pm on the day of the conference.
  • Ensure all participants complete the exit survey emailed by Eventbrite at 4:30pm on the day of the conference.

Step 5. Allow up to two weeks for AECENL to issue the PL certificate via email. If participants do not receive a PL verification email within two weeks of the PL event, AECENL suggests that participants check their spam/junk folders before contacting the office.
