Outdoor Clothing Swap - an AECENL Initiative

The Outdoor Clothing Swap is a collaboration between AECENL and Cloudberry Play and Outdoor Education and is located in the AECENL office and serves as a dedicated space for gathering new and gently used outdoor clothing for AECENL members to use in their services. AECENL members can come in and take up to two full outfits to bring back to their child care programs. This can be sizes for staff or children that may need outdoor clothing. You are also encouraged to donate or swap clothing for different sizes.

How can I donate Outdoor Clothing and Accessories? 

The clothing swap also gratefully accepts donations of outdoor clothing and accessories, which can be dropped off during open hours. 

For donations outside of open hours, please contact admin@aecenl.ca.

Examples of outdoor clothing and accessories available at the trading post or items we accept as donations include:

• Winter Clothing: snow suits, snow pants, winter coats
• Spring/Summer Clothing: spring jackets, raincoats, splash pants, muddy buddies
• Winter Accessories:winter hats, earmuffs, heavy gloves/mittens, scarves, balaklavas, heavy knits, winter boots
• Spring/Summer Accessories: light gloves/mittens, sun hats, rain boots
